Car crash

Just this past Wednesday my mom and I were in a car accident, on our way to school (we're both taking college classes). This is a good clue that your day will probably suck.

Really, it wasn't a bad accident. Though at twenty-five mph shit still happens.

Basically the elderly lady driving the other car made a left hand turn, right in front of us. Her car has a lovely dent, but nothing really bad. Our car however is (was?) a 1988 Ford Escort. The front left headlight is cracked, the bumper is gone, and the grill popped off, surprisingly the grill is one piece. However, you can see the radiator. They also don't make replacement parts for our car anymore so the insurance company just might decide to have the car totaled.

My mother (who was driving at the time) and I are small, so we have to drive with the seat as far forward as it will go to reach the peadles. So she has bruised knees but is otherwise fine. Per usual though, I'm hurt worse than I thought.

My chest and chin are a little tender from where the seat belt caught me. When the seat belt was hauling me back, it caught me by the chin and pulled me back that way. That pushed me chin into my chest as I was pulled back. Other than having spazz attacks through out the day that kept me from focusing very well I was fine.

Then I woke up yesterday (Thurs) morning in pain. Pain that starts right under my skull, goes down my neck, across my shoulders, and down through my shoulder blades. I thought that perhaps I had pulled or strained the muscles. Well, the pain stayed consent through out the day, hurting worse depending on how I moved. My friends suggested that I use hot packs and make an appointment to see a doctor. Apparently whiplash can set in a day after your accident.

So dad and I thought okay, use the hot packs and see how I feel in the morning. If I still hurt, go see our chiropracter, he specializes in accident victims.

Woke up this morning in the same amount of pain that I was in yesterday. So made an appointment with the good doctor. He took some x-rays and long story short several of my vertabre are out of place. So for the next six weeks I'm going to be having chiropractic appointments two (and he said perferably) three times a week. Fun.

Ain't you ever gonna upload anymore work? :iconimshockedplz:

Yes. . .eventually. Part figuring out the new (yet again) set up, which catagory to chose. . .

Also need to either post line art and then the color version, or to just freaking finish a color version and post it already.

Not a problem dear. I think its a cute and fun picture, and I like their poses. I'm currently trying a lot of new poses in my artwork, though I haven't worked up the nerve to try to put two people in the same picture yet.

. . .I really, really, need to update at some near point in the future.

For me, well, I don't really do backgrounds and animals are usually pretty iffy. As for my not posting? Well, I color in everything with photoshop these days, which can take forever. So really what I should do is post my line art and then the color version once I manage to actually finish something.
